San Francisco State University has just received the most Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships in the nation for students studying abroad in the 2017-18 academic year. The US State Department recently announced that it awarded nearly 1000 of the prestigious Gilman scholarships to students from 326 colleges and universities for the 2017-18 academic year. SF State led all colleges and universities by receiving 42 scholarships totaling in excess of $200,000 for students studying abroad during the fall 2017 semester and 2017-18 academic year. This is the second year in a row that SF State has received the most Gilman Scholarships.
IEEC is the largest and most active student club on campus comprised of students interested in study abroad, study abroad alumni, and international students from our partners around the world. SF State Abroad also has a Facebook page.
