About IEW
Since its inception in 2000, IEW has helped to showcase international education and foster inter-cultural understanding at San Francisco State University and beyond. IEW's focus has always been to promote awareness and understanding of our world’s diverse cultures both abroad, as well as within our own campus community. We hope that this year’s exciting events will provide you with a wealth of fun and interesting opportunities to experience the many cultures that are part of the SF State community through food, music, dance, lectures and more.
IEW's mission is particularly relevant in 2020, which has been rocked by global health concerns and travel restrictions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now more than ever, we should come together and celebrate the importance of international education and the global ties shared by SF State students, staff, and alumni around the world.
We encourage members of the San Francisco State University community to participate in our virtual and in-person events.
